Our Breakfast club is starting on September 2nd (Wednesday). It will run from 8:00 am to 9:00 am each morning. You will be able to book spaces soon through Aladdin when the e-payments are open. You must book and pay for the week in advance ( The Wednesday – before the start of the following week at the latest ). Seven euro is the cost of the club each day.
In order to facilitate costs and administration – Preference will be given to those who are booking five days (one full week in advance). Any other available slots will be released and booking is on a first come basis.
Breakfast Club will provide a healthy breakfast a choice of cereal and milk, fruit, toast and topping, fruit juice, milk and water. Once demand for certain foods are established we can develop a consistent menu. Breakfast club will also provide activities to engage children’s interests once they have eaten.
Parents will need to fill a “once of registration” form and return before any bookings are made.
We hope to give each child a small folder once they start which will have options for bookings. This would need to be sent into the breakfast club with the child each week and no later than the Wednesday – before the start of each week. This folder will need to be filled to book your place for the next week. Payment in cash will be accepted at this point (in the folder) or you will be able to make payment on Aladdin and indicate on the booking form that you have this done. Unfortunately no booking will be secured until payment is received.
Regular Confirmed and paid for bookings are the best way for us all to provide this service. We are still awaiting registration for the National childcare Scheme and once we are eligible, parents may be able to apply for subsidies. This can take some time and is beyond our control. Our Club Bricfeasta will be going ahead regardless. The school does not receive funding for this so it is to our own advantage to book and pay promptly in order to provide the best service we can.
- Step one – Fill registration form HERE ( fill the form if you think you will avail of the club – this is not a booking. This is the Registration form. This must be completed before you book. For the first week a booking is made when you pay through Aladdin)
- Step two – pay for the first week ( or more, if you wish and if the option allows) through Aladdin or drop into office if cash payment. (office will accept cash payments in an envelope with child’s name, class and selected dates on it from the 28th of August for the first week only – after this please use folder provided at breakfast club)
- Step Three – Please continue to use the folders each week to book and inform how payment will be made.
There will no doubt be bumps and issues at the start please give us feed back and any suggestions or improvements that we can make. Our aim is to get it up and running successfully in the first week and improve from there!
