Ba mhaith liom sibh a chur ar an eolas go bhfuil Mary ag dul ar scor ag deireadh an tsamhraidh. Thar cheann na foirne ar fad, ba mhaith liom mo mhíle buíochas a chur in iúl di as an méid atá déanta aici don scoil agus do na páistí le ceithre bliana is fiche. Interviews were held on Monday and we can now allocate our staff for September 2026.
Our long serving SNA Mary McCormack is retiring in August this year after twenty- four years of dedicated service to our school. We thank her for all that she has done for the school over that time. For those who know Mary and have had children working with her, they will know too well the lengths that she always went to for the benefit of her pupils. Above and beyond was her natural approach and she had only maximum energy approach for anything she undertook. She is a credit to the profession of SNAs and as a person, always reliable and helpful beyond what was ever asked. She will be missed by all. On behalf of the whole school community, we wish her health and happiness in her retirement.
In order to give a phased-in approach with the school day for our Naíonáin Bheaga/Junior
Infant class, & Junior infants in the ASD class we have shortened school hours for the first few days:
On Friday 28th August, children in Junior infants in the ASD class will be in school from 9:10 – 12.00.
From Friday 11th of September, the children in infants will be in school from 9:10 – 1:50.
Morning Arrival
The school day starts at 9.10. The school gate will open at 9.00.
